I always laugh at stuff like this--not you---but I laugh when I hear women talk about how paganism and wiccanism is so "female" friendly--not realizing that it started as an occultist society in the middle 1800's to espouse female virtue as a way of getting sex for horny old rich men. But I could speak for hours on this..alas....even Gottigen does not offer a D.Mag.d anymore.......I should have gone for it when my friend was still alive.... Anyway, interesting entries..especially the mud wrestling. [Onwardandupward]

Soulmates
|
Hey Blue.. Got a Q 4 ya, if you think you and hubby are soulmates, y would you ever go off him ? or are you thinking you can have +1 soulmates that can be lovers? Help..arggh.oh and I had an idea, if your baby boy sleeps in his tent and likes it, that can be 'his' space which will make taking him on visits so much easier cos he'll be happy he still has his space :)
Who really cares if he sleeps there or in his bed? :) ttyl Flip

I wanted to add that despite my sudden dislike of blue colour, sapphire is also my favourite gem. I don't know why. So far, I still haven't really own one yet...I just think the gem is rather mystery and yet elegant. [Crossroad]

I was really surprised when you mentioned that you hated blue once. I hate blue too...and still hate it.. well, it's about my mother-in-law.. came to my wedding in a bright blue dress. Well, I don't hate the colour blue before, but I guess I kinda dislike her for "not really welcoming me into the family", and that blue dress just get imprinted on my mind. Anything that's blue in colour reminds me of her "unkindness" towards me. Ouch! Really irritating!!! Am I petty? [Crossroad]

I am really amazed when I was reading your entry. That sounded so much like my husband. I thought that my husband is just one of its own kind. I was really touched that you actually drop me a comment regarding my one and only entry so far.. Somehow, I feel that you are a woman with deep sense of emotion... I will try and write more entries soon. [Crossroad]

Why do some people have to become total idiots when they get on the internet? I don't understand it but then, I don't have any reason to so some of the things people think is "cool"...ok, so I'm boring but I'm also happily married to a wonderful man...maybe that's the difference. I feel for your friend... all you can do is be there for support and I wish her the best...[PammyD]

geeeze i feel bad for your friend and you! why does it always seem that in a relationship there has to be one person like that and the other one on the receiving end? what makes you think they are soulmates if he has done this to her? you wanted to know how to add pix to your diary...that was why i came here...and wound up reading that.... here's the trick...create a profile on photobucket.com....then upload your pix there. once they are saved there...click in the "tag" box...copy all that text...come back to your diary page...click the button above the smilies that has the <> on it. when you get to that window...just paste the tag text in there...then click the <> again...and poof...you have a pic! have fun with it! my daughter tried climbing out of her crib one time...she fell and blacked her eye. Instead of going out and buying her a toddler bed I just took the side of her crib. The side that moves up and down. Now she has a day bed. She can get in and out as she pleases and I don't have to worry about her falling and getting hurt. You should give it a shot it works wonders.[stayawayibite]

I hope that you are able to get some sleep. I know that you and hubby will come to an agreement. I wish that I had some wise advice on handling the situation...I did see on the nany where they firmly put the child back in bed each time he climbed into their and eventually the child agve up but not until after a few fit throwing nights. I wish you the best in this and all areas of your life. I like your writing voice...so I added you to my favs..I hope that you don't mind. Wishing you peaceful sleep, Jewel [Jeweliet]

I'm with you, I was "thinking" about sex at 12 and 13 (and 14, 15, etc.) but that's it! I was twenty when I lost my virginity, so that's where I'm coming from (hey maybe homeschooling is the answer, I homeschooled ). I read the comment below and was really scared because I don't even know what that thing is... to sit on... what in the world? About those cookies, I made them from my Martha Stewart Baking book but I just searched online and found the recipe so here it is. They are fantastic: http://recipes-from-friends.com/dessert/cookie/lime-glazed-cookies.htm [myprincehascome]

Kids these days....
|
You missed the 16 yo diary of the sex parties--it was kinda scary: rainbow parties, girls club initiation parties where the initiates have to sit on a sybian for 20 mins each ( all the way down), then orally please all the female members---I mean hello?? or parties where they "learn" techniques-- hooking up with girls and guys, having a boy friend, but a girlfriend to have sex with so she doesn't get pregnant...and lots of other crazy stuff--I mean hello, the stuff I did when I was a kid pales by comparison to some of the stuff you will read here as to what actually goes on....and I am NO prude by far.....but in some ways we're going back to Roman times my opinion: Pandora's box has been unleashed.... The next time someone talks politically correct, speak biased, thenext time soemone speaks of tolerance, show them that intolerance is the key..the next time someone says love is the way, show them that only through hatred does mankind grow..noone is disabled, they are handicapped, noone is mentally challanged, they are retarded. When we call spades spades, then will people be more sedate--instead by mellowing the names we give people we make it easier to accept things in life. This sex is the natural outcropping of liberalism, the 60's,a nd anything that speaks of "if it feels good do it cause it ain't hurting anyone". Better to have done nothing because all revolutions sour in time..... [Onwardandupward]

Random noter here...I agree with you about kids...it's so scary how young they are when they become sexually active...I have another diary on another site and one of the girls is becoming a photographer...took nude photos of a female friend and posted them right there on her diary...I was in shock...there are too many weirdos out there to be doing stuff like that. I never would have had the nerve to undress in front of my friends, let alone let them take pictures of me like that...[PammyD]

you know...it must because they just opened up their lives to the world....emotions and thoughts...that everyone is so shocked and sad about it. the guys doing the neighbor's roof yesterday were talking about all day...and they arent exactly the sentimental types...my son grew up watching Steve Erwin...and he was even upset about it. its like we all lost a friend. i was sitting at work today thinking about it...and thought...if people come into this world knowing what their lives will be like before they get here...(reincarnation kinda thing)...then maybe he knew what a short time he had, and decided to do as much as he could and make as much of an impact as he could...i feel sooo bad for his wife...and his kids not being able to grow up with him...soooo sad! and thank you for your comments...lol...you are funny! Thank you for what you wrote. My first reaction was to try to defend him...but this morning I sat here thinking about what I'm doing to be able to go to this stupid concert this month and that I wouldn't have had to do any of this if he had just taken me instead of playing stupid games. In a way...I was glad to see what you wrote...it made me not feel quite so bad about some of the things I have been thinking about the last couple days. I almost called tonight, but decided I wasn't going to give him the satisfaction! I will write more about my son...enjoyed reading bout yours! Enjoy him! [witchiepooh64]

Changing Colors
|
Okay, I have a few minutes to pollute your page with my comments on what you've written here. It amuses me that your mother's lack of comprehension on fleeting favorite colors tries your sanity. Makes me smile because I know people who just can't dream big enough either! I've had a long line of favorite colors, I had a blue period: at fifteen it was really at a climax when I bought a pair of blue Doc Martens. In the last five years I've made the switch from cools to warms, now I'm all about oranges, yellows and reds. I like your mention of jewels and jewel tones because I am big into jewels, not like I own any, other than a pair of aquamarine earrings and a few garnet rings. Country Blue, ICK! I hate that decor, my kitchen is still bordered with baskets of apples on a checked background, gag me! but we haven't gotten around to remodeling the kitchen- we had the money saved for a new stove when our washer croaked so it went into the laundry room- which by the way is now a fabulous terra cotta color. I had a boyfriend who did an impression of me: with his eyes all wide and a round mouth he'd ooooohhh and ahhhh, GLITTERRRRRR! when I'd beeline for something shiney. Did you ever read Rascal by Sterling North? Good book about a raccoon... I love your story of how you switched to blue. I love that you bought yourself a blue sweater. That entire thought process just showed me how authentic you are, so in tune with yourself, your mind, your heart, your body, nature: it just jumped out at me off this page. Anastasia Blue. Anastasia is a name in a long line of names I'd have chosen for myself. My cousin is Kathryn Anastasia, it satisfied me that at least someone I know and love got to have it. About age nine I wanted to change my name to Zoe Garwood. My last name is not Garwood. I don't know where I came up with it but there it was, I was reinventing my entire self. Now I would NEVER change my name, but hopefully some day I will get to name babies. Too bad that your husband is not buying Anastasia Blue. It's very imaginative. Okay, I'm finally done! Wow, I never thought it could be taken that way but I guess I talk about Jenn more than my wife here..hmm. Does that answer you question lol. No Jenn is this wonderful girl in/out of my life, naturally I'm married to someone else which is part of what screws everything up both in any relationship and in my head. She (Jenn) has qualities I've never found in anyone else and I don't want to just let them walk away. sigh, s'funny most diarists in here seem a little screwed up, I guess we all need a kick to the head to get us writing things down. Well my point is...I love that nickname, Mako. I think that is the greatest nickname I have ever heard of. And it so fits your little guy. Mako Shark. When he is 18...no one is going to believe how he got his nickname.

I want a baby! I hope you can find a way to stay at home. My aunt is a realtor in a rich town and she makes mucho money. The funny thing is, she doesn't even need it, her husband is a retired airline pilot. She also is a strict catholic. Something is wrong with that picture.

I think you're voicing the thoughts of a lot of MDD veterans. Where has everyone gone? Why are there so many writers intent on dolling out only the negative? I'm sure if they sought out half as many positive events in their lives as they do the negative, life might look a little brighter. [RollerCoasterRide]

WEll, people only hear what they want to hear!! (or read what they want to read). I understand what you're talking about though, but sometimes I get the sneaking suspicion I'm not listening sometimes too (to Jay). I think he's telling me exactly what he wants, but I don't want to hear it, so I repeatedly ask him until I hear what I want to hear. Then I wonder...why doesn't he talk to me??? *sigh* Women!!! LOL Why do we think so much??? :P P.S. thanks for all the "last sentences", I really do love them! [WyomingLover]

LOL Thanks for adding that last part! Every now and then, since you've been gone, I've added one to my entry!! Although you do it the best though!! Oh AB, I was so happy to see your name in my comments section. I have been wondering if you've been well since I can never seem to catch you online, even though I don't log onto MSN very often! I'm glad things are well with you and yours.....and I'm glad to know that you can still work out when you're pregnant, I've been wondering about that. A section I read in one of my college books said there should be "limited exercising" and I though, Great...that's the time you seem to REALLY need to exercise, and you can't. So that makes me happier for when I do decide to get pregnant...I can still exercise!! Yay. Again, I'm glad everything is okay!! Wyoming [WyomingLover]

Dreams are the communications of the mind beyond its barriers; in a very real way, your dreams are the true seduction of the soul. The fact that she is very similar in many respects to you might add spice to the encounter, but each of us cen seduce ourselves. In fact, in any intimate relationship, we do exactly that: seduce not only our partner, but also ourselves.
The fact that she intrudes upon your mind at initmate moments is natural, given the relative proximity of the dream, the newness of its origin, and the intimacy of the actions explored in the dream setting. Over time it will become easier to block the intrusion (small help now, I know, but...). Safe dancing, dreamer. [Caeraerie]

my brother and I always joked about writing a novel. One night at a family gathering we came up with an idea. We thought it was funny - the 2 of us always had the same sense of humor. Anyway I wrote a paragraph and sent it to him via e-mail- expecting him to do the same. In the end, I did the writing - He has 4 kids - a biz - and a creative mind - just a lack of time. It worked out well - I loved writing - I don't know if I will ever publish it. - It still needs to edit - but the book poured out of me- it wrote itself. Whether you calaborate of not doesn't matter. Just start writing- The guy sounds cute though - Maybe you could collaborate on some other project:) [amyb]

Actually, flax oil is better than fish oil, same level of omega-3 fatty acids (the key to concentration) and higher levels of other minerals. Also, I suggest that if the concentration does not return in the next few days, have a chat with your doctor about the bump on the head and get scheduled for a CAT scan. Brain injuries can be extremely dangerous...and insidious. [Caeraerie]

An excellent book on the subject is "Givers, Takers and Other Kinds of Lovers" by Josh McDowell and Paul Lewis. Although it's written from a christian viewpoint (I'm not sure whether that would help or hinder its assistance), it does a fantastic job of differentiating between sex and love, expecially in marriage.
And as far as temptation goes, I'm not offhand sure that ANY person, married or committed or otherwise, has ever lived which has not experienced at least some form of temptation. The key to your own relationship is whether or not your partner can handle sharing, and whether or not your own code will allow it. Safe dreaming, dancer. [Caeraerie]

Ah! Sex and Love ? Sex or Love? That is the question. And I'll be damned if i know the answer. My husband is a hopeless romantic, and I wish he were a bit more edgy. Hank is really edgy, and I'd give anything for a valentine card. Never gonna happen. For now, I'd enjoy the different positions and light the candles myself. I'm the last one to talk about temptation - I have no will power, when it comes to matters of the heart or of the carnal varitety. In any event, I'm glad you're back. [amyb]

Sweetie, he needs to understand that sex is not equal to love. That's why people have great sex with people they don't love. Sex is really more like an itch. And occasionally (and sometimes often!) that itch needs scratching. ;-) Get him a vibrator for you and refer to it as the "itch scratcher." Maybe he will get the hint. LOL [chastetek]

Sorry to hear about your friend... At the begining of your writing you stated that you seemed more attractive to others because of your recent sexual contact. I have friends that work in brothels in Nevada, where it is legal and they have noticed that a freshly F---ed prostitute seems to get picked out of the line-up most often. It's like you can see the glow or feel the vibe if you've been recently satisfied. How weird is that? Paddy [Bamboo]

Thanks for your comment AnaB! Everything is back on track. Thanks for having faith in me! Our family used to have family reunions all the time on my dad's side. I loved going to them though. We used to have them in a little park in Michigan. This park had a little amusement park in it, with the neatest, smallest roller coaster!!! I have alot of memories, I'm glad yours are still continuing, and it's great that you're cherishing it!!! [WyomingLover]

I tempted to say :damned if I know!:(! I get the feeling courtships are transitional stages whitch we all pass through - I don't think they can be repeated, although I have heard of second honeymoons! Your dream was better than mine - In mine some stranger was shooting at a group of us, and I had to hit the floor in order to stay alive! Nothing erotic about that either! [amyb]

Courtship
|
Courtship and chivalry aren't dead, they've just gone underground. Blame it on society; when it started getting sick, the more noble portions of our natures went and hid somewhere...
I'm unsure what level of communication your marriage has, but if its anything like mine, I suggest you TELL your hubby about this dream. Try explaining (write it down if necessary) what you find romantic. Yes, I know, it's kinda like opening the present on Christmas and finding the watch you bought for yourself and handed over to be wrapped by your family member. But trust me. Quite often, men aren't romantic because they don't have the faintest idea what romance IS. Help him out with the first few ideas...hopefully, he'll take it from there. [Caeraerie]

I hope women will always need men. . .I don't want to be useless!! But anyway, as far as the love you get from your friends versus the love you get from boyfriends/husbands. It's totally different and cannot be compared on the same level. Your friends will be there forever, regardless of the "man" you're with at the time. But he can satisfy a deeper kind of love that your friends will never be able too. [Profoundhatredofman]

Need

Sometimes we don’t “know” what we need, so how do we know if the other person we choose will make that balance? Perhaps we find out, giving time to a relationship and then decide whether that relationship is healthy, balanced. Sometimes we chose the wrong partners because we are searching for that balance. But how can we make a wise choice if we don’t know what to look for, if we don’t know what we need? I think that God was preparing me, helping me to see “what” i needed, “what” type of man i needed. i had to do some soul searching and had to change some things within myself before i could have a healthy relationship. i could not have been a benefit to a significant other without taking that which was unpleasant and throwing it away.....(exccess baggage) Lord knows, trying to change someone else NEVER works! ~whisper [Warlocks whisper]

Need
|
Ultimately "need" progresses upward in heirarchy. At the bottom are the basic requirements (food, shelter, etc), next is safety/security, then social needs (the need for friends, companionship, love, etc.) Sadly, this is where many people stay, as the need for social interaction is often confused with the needs of esteem, the next level in the pyramid. But surmounting all of these is the need for self-actualization, in which the human understands the true worth of self and the lesser needs fade. It seems to me that this is the point which you have now achieved.
Yes, I am male, but the fact remains that the codependency currently referred to as "love" is as unhealthy for the mascualine as it is for the feminine. Love is a healthy condition, but jealousy (often mistaken for love) is not. In my opinion, the only true path to love is to first know, accept and love yourself, in short, to reach the point of self-actualization. Safe dreaming, dancer, and thanks for the thoughts. For years and years I thought I "needed" a man in my life...but now.....I don't want one..except for the occassional romp in the bed sheets, I think that's why I dislike myself now for getting into the predicament I'm in now with Jay. I'm far away from home...no money...impossible to get a job since we stay so little of time in each place...but when we get home, it will be different. I'm going to get a job, that way I'll feel more secure and won't have to rely on him! Yeah for me! [WyomingLover]

Awesome entry. The time that a woman realizes that she does not actually NEED a man to make her complete is a pivotal point in her life. It just takes some women longer than others to realize it. It took me a while, since I was pretty naive, but when I did finally realize it, I felt very free and liberated. I agree with amyb...when I made the decision earlier this year to stop dating to concentrate on my education and being a mother, men came from left and right. Maybe that's because they can sense your new independence and confidence and it's attractive to them. I dunno... [blondechickee]

Racism will always be prevalant, because people will always be stupid. One more story - My friend Isabel is Puerto Rican. But she is light skinned, and those who don't know her think she is Anglo! Any way, she bought a house, and the second day the Chinese people next door came over - shook her hand and told her not to rent the second apartment (it was a 2 family deal)to any Blacks! The neighborhood would go downhill! Bad Move! Isabel doesn't have a prejudiced bone in her body - Her father is remarried to a black woman - She herself is currently dating an Afro-American. So she calls the Real Estate agent and says - she will ONLY rent to Afro-American, Blacks or people of Color! The Chinese neighbors wnet crazy when they saw who finally moved in. A very nice Afro-American woman who went on to get her PHD at NYU and is currently teaching at a leading University. There goes the neighborhood:) It seems that every group, thinks that they are better than the next! [amyb]

Yes - I still see racism today in strange ways. I work in a multicultural environment - The sales peole are really a rainbow kind of staff - as are the customers - but most of the sales people who do not speak second languages (like Spanish or Chinese) seem to get very upset when their customers don't speak English! You would think that they might try learning a few of these languages ( I myself have listened to Spanish Tapes - sort of like, when in Rome do like the..)They seem to want to blame the customer - I grew up surrounded by immigrants - Hell! This is NY - a melting pot! Its not so easy to learn a foreign language if you didn't grow up here. I think alot more tolerance is needed. This negative attitude, that it's the foreigners fault, annoy's me. I see it as a subtle shade of racism. [amyb]

Yeah for The Sims!! I hope you feel better soon, drink some hot tea, veg out and read a book! A good sex novel! ;) Have you ever read the story about Linda Lovelace? It's called Ordeal. It's sad but good reading. It tells how she was forced into doing porn and what not, I don't know if I necessarily believe that or not, but good none the less. Well gotta finish laundry. I'm feeling violated, I went down to take the clothes out of the washer and put them into the dryer and some guy was in there and had taken all my clothes out, panties, weird toe socks and all, and laid them out on top of the dryer wet. I was pissed, but I held in my anger and decided not to vent on the poor guy!!! feel better! I hate those feel real dreams - When they are really good - u hate to wake up! And when they are really scary - it makes you wonder ! I had one last night about getting in trouble at work! And this was after I had gone somewhere, where both managers told me I was great. Still it felt real - and i've ben walking around kind of edgy all day! Now about the Nose! After years of cocaine abuse, I can no longer smell a thing, and if the temperature drops below 60, it runs all the time! I have learned to do everything, holding a hankercheif or tissue in one hand especially from Oct to May or if the air conditioner is to cold! So go for the shower. LOL, I so enjoy your entries...... I'm back for now, I FINALLY got local internet. I was having withdrawals from not getting MDD! Now I have so many entries to get caught up again. I'm not sure when I'll get to Arizona. Not this trip though. I have to be back in PA for Oct. 2nd, and then I'm going to stay for awhile. Maybe until the beginning of next year. I've had my fill of motels, especially this one! After reading the entry of your dream, I was wishing we could network our minds together so I can dream what you're dreaming! ;) I've never had a dream like that! Maybe if I think long and hard about it when I start to fall asleep, maybe I'll get lucky (if I can't get lucky during the day, maybe I can at night!). LOL And I am the same way, I love to give BJ's! Why can't we all just find men that will make us happy, and you'd think that would make them happy. I like to give them when the guy is driving! But my little man doesn't let me! Oh well..... This dream pedicts: You are working on something important at your occupation that is influential to YOU, that can bring prosperity. The "eyes" in your dream are your vision, your consciousness and clarity. You will have a pleasant and profitable business with a congenial companion. There may be a period of isolation and transition. Which shows up conflicts and friction with relations and friends. People feel they can rely on you. You have an abundance of energy and vitality. You are like a foundation and you have a need to create stability. You are full of illumination.which is something important within yourself. Your dream indicates the great passion and sensitivity in your emotional relationships, full of beauty, goodness and perfection. Something you have come in contact with recently is working very well for you. [Warlocks whisper]

Every relationship - Married or Un - has its hills and valley's -ups and downs! Make no mistake - I think my husband is the most romantic person i know, and definately a soul mate - the only thing is i think you can have more than one soul mate - I've been with several people who have really spoken to my heart - Is my hubby, rip it up, slam against the wall sex, - NO! Its not in him - I have that with Hank - If I could combine the two I would! I have opted to play outside the box -so to speak - but that is not for everyone - Your relationship just needs a little tweaking - I don't think you need to explore outside avenues yet - Quite frankly, I think the guilt would kill you, and you might see it as a kind of defeat! As for telling him what you need - that has never worked for me - I have to seduce someone into getting what I want - Once I have to give someone a road map, it kind of spoils it - I know we are going to get lost anyway! Start with visualization - and follow your instincts! Good Luck! [amyb]

That, Ana, was a sweet entry! Can't you just communicate with hub and tell him you need more romance? I mean communicate in a nice loving way..You know talk to him, tell him while you lovingly rub his brow or his cheek? First entry I have read in awhile that makes me think being married might be okay. You are a sweetheart and I hope your hub appreciates you. Remember communication in a positive light goes a long way.. : ) What I have isn't deep..it's fun but it doesn't go far. I have decided to play this game until I find my soul mate..and I don't even know if there is such a thing. Hell, I might even be there..only time will tell I feel ridiculous giving you advice because I am so not the norm...and obviously I haven't found someone who I am willing to commit myself to. I was married once but.....I was too immature to understand commitment. You go Ana. And I hope Flyerbri finds the same happiness. You guys are cool. I am..hanging out waiting for Mman to call. He has Open Night at school with his kids and their mom. It seems like I change men like my underwear but I am in a predicament that I just decided to see the positive in. Kate [MrsJones]

GMA is of the devil!
|
Wow. Well, first I need to ask since I didn't see it, but I know that GMA brings people on to interview about topics of interest or debate. My question is, is this GMA's opinion or the opinion of a researcher who perhaps had too much wine at communion? Several years back a researcher made the hypothesis that rape is just part of the biological need for primitive man to propagate and several shows were castigated for giving the researcher a pulpit to speak his piece. As for religion, which religion? Any? Will satanism work? How about Buddhism? Or is the researcher just trying to push his/her own personal religion? [chastetek]

oh Ana....no offence taken...giggle. i didn't see the show and all i was commenting on was the fact about how it has helped my friend. if a psych. believes in rebirthing a child in those extreme ways, i too am against it. Children are a blessing and need to be handled with EXTREME caution as they are sooooo impressionable. i too believe that what i find "within" myself is what brings me to light and to know myself. A clear fact with what has happened to me with Sire's loving help and touch......giggle. Always a friend... ~whisper [Warlocks whisper]

whisper....Yes, I do think religion, faith mainly, can and does help some people. But not everyone, like you said. I just worry about the fanatical people out there. I may not be christian, but I do have a strong faith..it just might not be the same as yours. That faith in me has helped me with some of my own issues. I am very glad church and finding jesus helped your friend immensely...but it is not for everyone. It just angered me the way it was put across on GMA, in an age when children are being suffocated in blankets because a psychiatrist thinks they need to be rebirthed...well..anyway..i worry about the children is all...i hope i did not offend you, that was not my intention in the slightest...i preach tolerance of one another no matter what. You, I consider a friend, and did not mean to upset. [Anastasia Blue]

Once again....deep subject. Going to church doesn't make you a christian, just as going into a garage doesn't make you a mechanic!!! Even if you ARE a christian, it takes a life time to get just a glimpse of Him. We put limitations on God....and we need to STOP! Isn't He the ALMIGHTY??? Able to do anything?? Ha! The way some christians talk, you would think they don't believe that He is able to do ALL things. *sigh.....He will judge us all one day.... ~whisper [Warlocks whisper]

Wow...I am a christian, but I don't go to church, but I am with you AB. I cannot believe they actually had that on tv! That is ridiculous, that is just someone's opinion and I truly hope that is how it was meant to come across. My best friend has some sort of mental issue, and she has attended church every Sunday and Wednesday (almost) her entire life. So has her sister, who has the same mental issue. But they still have their issues! Maybe you should write them a letter, and tell them they're giving YOU mental issues by just thinking of them. When I was in my church going years, I was listening to a Christian radio station out of Charlotte, NC. And I noticed they didn't play Amy Grant songs. I found out it was because she had gotten a divorce. That pissed me off. So I wrote the network a letter. Needless to say, they wrote me back and said it was because they didn't want to give children today a poor role model!!!! Like they don't have enough of them already, what is Amy Grant going to hurt????? So I wrote them a letter back saying that she never asked the public to know her business. God doesn't judge people, what gives them the right? And I told them that just because she was divorced, doesn't mean that her songs won't touch somebody deeply and affect their lives. They wrote back and said when she changes her ways they'll play her songs once more. I didn't listen to that radio station for years. And when I did listen to it, I always had that thought in the back of my mind. (I know your feelings on religion, but this was the only example to your diary entry I could think of) *smiles* [WyomingLover]

Ok, here goes.....deep subject and i will not go that deep, but touch the tip of the iceburg... I do not know the effect that church can have on a child with mental illness but i DO know the effect on a mentally ill person who wanted something, ANYTHING to ease the pain of her agony. i have known her 20 years, plus. i encouraged her to go to a church that not only taught the WHOLE bible but acted in it as well. She is SEVERLY mentally ill, nothing light. She hears voices, sees dead people, thinks i am poisoning her at times, has prolonged stays at the hospital due to attempted suicide, sees people following her and that is just to name a few things. THAT is immense agony!!! She sees her therapist 3 times a week and takes SO MUCH medicine....SO MANY PILLS that i can't tell you how many. i encouraged her to go to church more than one time, to go more than one week, more than one month but to try it dilligently for one year. She did so....and after that one year, her visits to her Therapist were reduced to once every other month and her medication to only needing one pill per day. After 20 years of seeing her in pain, and then almost all effects gone after one year of devoting herself to living the life of "religion" or what have you, gives me nothing but proof. NOW....some churches are really good at screwing you up though! Even some of the ones that teach the WHOLE bible. It is rare to find a church like the one that my friend went to. BUT my point is, if that church or the way they taught her, HELPED her and relieved her of her agony....then there has to be SOMETHING in it. Maybe not for everyone..but if it can help a small few, then why not TRY it?? i will try anything once and when it comes to my children, i am MORE than willing! This subject can go very deep and the above REALLY takes allot of effort on the parents part (or friends part) It actually WORE me OUT! There is a red thread that runs through the bible that leads to secrets that can be revealed only with desire, dilligence and a willing heart. Thing is....it is hard to keep it up....believe me i know.... ~whisper [Warlocks whisper]

Wouldn't that depend on what the definition of "is" is? ;-) Sweetie, your thoughts are always your own, nobody else's unless you choose to share. You do what you need and want up to the point where you are hurting someone else. At that point only do you need to consider what you are doing and if it's worth it. That's the only time you really can make that decision. :-) [chastetek]

What color is your hair? Maybe u should start with a change in your apperance- that might lead to other changes? I only suggest this, because it worked for me! When I lost weight, and went blonde, my husband really sat up and took notice - I invented games for Hank - you could do the same for your husband - if you want to confine it to him - I once took a big W magazine - and replaced all the picutres with dirty ones I cut out from X-rated Mags- I got really creative - My husband asked me what I was looking at, I showed him an Ad that I had covered over with a girl playing with herself. The project took me about 2 hours but it was worth it! And I hid the magazines - It became known as my private collection. Or tell him you've rented a vidio - and make sure its a really hot one-! The list is really endless! [amyb]

You must be reading my mind AB, that is exactly how I've been feeling. Last night at the bar, a guy came down from the other end to find out if I was married, I guess a few of the guys wanted to know. I was living that up girl! I love to flirt and be flirted with. I know I have my man, but I KNOW he's not showing me the attention I crave, therefore I seek it out from other men. It could possible be that your hubby isn't showing you the attention you want, you said he was grumpy lately. But I truly hope your "honeymoon" isn't over. That's what worries me about my relationship right now, and we're not even married yet. Give it some more time, then if it doesn't get better, cyber up! :) [WyomingLover]

well you know me, i will be honest. When i first got a computer, i knew nothing about cyber sex. i think i fell hard for the first guy, not knowing that he was cybering. It truly broke my heart cuz i thought he was for real. i have done some cyber sexing but it does get old and only gives you the want for MORE than computer sex and believe me...if you run into a smooth talker, you will more than likely go for it. THEN you will have something to truly be miserable about. i say...don't do it. i understand where you are and what you are going thru. The only way is to flat out communicate and if he loves you, he will come around. Do chose your words carefully. i would say "Ask Sire" but he is much more understanding than any man i have ever met....but.....he does give great advice....lol, he will probably get his 2 cents in here anyway, even without you asking...*wink. ~whisper [Warlocks whisper]

i'm all for cybering - just read my latest entry! And do I hear the Old Jimmy Carter "Lust in my Mind" rational. Here's the thing! Ond day I came home and caught my husband watching a porn movie while jerking off! Was that cheating on me - because he was watching other women and probably geting turned on by them? I also understand the need to feel desired! When Hank told me, 4 years ago, that I had great legs and then started to pursue me my whole life changed. I wasn't married at the time. But I was living with A, who is now my husband. Quite frankly I think it helped the relationship - Call me crazy - but men have been doing it for years - On every different level - They pay for it, go to strip joints, keep mistresses if they can afford or settle for a blow job in the (Oval) office. They have to be doing it with someone - A little cyber sex? Pish-tush my friend. It's only typing with one hand ! [amyb]

Hey Anastasia, what you need to do is get a pocket-sized notebook, and the first thing you should do with it is stick all the post-its inside, so they're all in one place. Because the alternative is chaos!!
I tend to scribble on scraps also, and in theory I then write it up into my computer so I can easily search through it, but the thing is that I've literally got piles and piles of notes around my room, all waiting to be typed up, dating back two or three years, and on lots of different objects -- bits of tissue boxes, napkins, brochures, newspaper... I don't like crap - Danielle Steele - But once in in Elizabeth Goldsmith works for me. I think a woman hits her prime in her 40's and since I've always been a late bloomer, I plan to go t
ight on through my 50's! I think you may be getting horny after reading, MsJones and Warlocks Whisper, not to mention Flyer Bri! Now go wake up your husband and put all those words into action! [amyb]

Hhmmm, I think a woman's "prime" begins in her 40's, but I'm sure it is different for different women. I remember craving sex MORE in my 30's but I was "taken over" in my middle 40's and the cravings get stronger!(THANK GOD!)...but I am also sure that it depends one the one you are with too. When I am with Warlock, well let me give you an example: I was doing the dishes and he came up behind me and began nuzzling my neck and my hair, he pressed himself up against me and the dish washing came to a halt THEN he very slowly, very lowly began growling in my ear....OMG...that turned me on SO BAD! All I wanted to do was melt...well....I guess I better save this for my next entry...giggle.... ~whisper [Warlocks whisper]

Wow, you'd make a great book critic!! Seriously! I love to read also, and my favorite authors are alot of the ones you mentioned (Mary Higgins Clark, Hoag, Johansen, and Blume who's book Summer Sisters I especially enjoyed). I don't get into the romance novels either, I remember once I was reading one of the popular authors books, Lavyrle Spencer. I got halfway through the book and ripped it up into little pieces and threw it away, that was the end of my romance days, and this was quite a few years ago. I was so disgusted by how the woman was a larger breasted woman, and how the guy she loved treated her. I also do not read Danielle Steel books anymore. The last one I read, it was for the second reading, because I hadn't read it in some time. It was about a nun who fell in love with a priest....need I say anymore? So I stick with mystery and mayhem also. And I was always wondering about that 30's thing. I have 5 more years to go before I hit 30, and if I'm having this hard of a time getting any, do you think I'll me more likely to cheat? I don't see myself as a cheater, but if I marry this man, and he doesn't show me the love and attention, is it more likely to happen? Even if I don't mean it to? Just something I wonder about, I truly don't think I'll ever cheat though. Well I hope you had a great weekend. Jay didn't kill me over the phone bill! So that is good, he just said never to let it happen again. :) And I also enjoy your letters a great deal, so please keep them coming also! :) [WyomingLover]

WARNING: Religion discussed...

I too have trouble with the GOD stuff - I listen to tapes that refers to The UNIVERSE or SOURCE (as in SOURCE of energy) and find that to be the most comfortable - Although I am Jewish, and went to a Yeshiva in my earlier years, I am not religous - and resent it when the lines of church and state become blurred . It seems to happen all to often these days - Still, I was married by a Rabbi in a Synagogue (about 6 months ago), knowing full well that it meant more to my mother than it did to me. It was sentiment, not religion that motivated me. Being a recovering alchoholic also makes it diffcult to work a 12-Step program, with out GOD!- There is "GOD" all over the BIG BOOK - which is AA's bible- And you are encouraged to find a higher power - Although it does say something about coming to believe in a God as you understand him-meaning everyone gets to pick his own. I once had a sponsor who changed every HE to SHE when she referred to GOD. But the bottom line is, people who are trying to get sober, are often made to feel that their chances are slim to none if they don't find GOD! Go figure?! And then of course there are the fanatics who kill in the name of GOD - There's a very interesting book - UNDER THE BANNER OF HEAVEN - A Story of Violent Faith" by Jon Krakauer. Check it out! In the mean time, I'll stick with the "Universe". Thanks for an interesting entry! [amyb]

WARNING: Religion discussed...

Actually, "under one god" was added to the pledge in the 50s, and "In God We Trust" was added to money in the 1930s. It is NOT what our founding fathers had imagined when they drafted the Constitution. Freedom of religion also includes freedom FROM religion. And most people just don't get that. My ex is an activist and a secular humanist. From him, I now understand how important it is to understand that. (I hope I wasn't too strong here, or I was just trying to inform as best as I can....) And in court, you can ask them not to ask you to swear to god or on a bible... [candysunshine]

Ana... Sounds GREAT about the Glove... Glad you found it for so little. Since it's less than the "retail price", I'm assuming you found it on the web. As to the religion topic, I may have worded what I was saying wrong... I was saying that when it comes to religion, everyone should be allowed their own beliefs. Do I believe in "God"? yes... but not the way you would think. We'll have to have a discussion on it sometime... but to MY eyes, having "In God We Trust" and so on labeled throughout the American set of virtues does not neccisarily mean the "Christian God", but instead it means "In Belief Of Our Faith We Trust"... whatever that faith may be. whisper's Sire [warlock]

I'm sorry if you mentioned it in one of your other entries, but I didn't read all the way through them. And I agree, I like reading into other peoples lives too, sometimes it's nice to know (and sorry to know) that other people have it worse than you do. It makes you enjoy what you have more. And it's nice to read what others are going through, sometimes it's the same thing you are so you can work through it together. Good luck with your day tomorrow, and have a good holiday weekend! (grins)....... it's called a "Fukuoku".... and if you cannot find it in your local sex shop, let me know... I know someone who owns their own shop, and could ship it to you.... it's about $75 (plus shipping and handling of course), but is well worth the price and better than any vibrator.
As to finding someone for my pet... it may be true what she says above... but she's already told me a couple of names, so I dont think I'll have much of a problem at all of setting it up. -whisper's Sire [warlock]

Kisses and kisses
|
What I find, with men or women, is that initially they maybe attractive - but if they don't have the cerebral stuff to go with it - its a turn off. I think it's easier for a man to overlook "the personality stuff" , or may be its just me - But have you ever been with someone that is so hot - and then they have to ruin it by opening their mouth - or doing something to embarrass you. I too kissed a women way back when, but I was young and stoned and did it at the behest of another young man, so he would put out more Cocaine and Qualludes.- then we all fell asleep in his waterbed. If I met a woman today that did it for me, I'd go for it too- would it be cheating? Sure! And I bet it would be alot easier to explain what I did in the afternoon. "We went shopping!" I just finished watching a lesbian movie, where the 2 females get married. All I kept thinking was, the guy who plays her brother is really cute - Oh well!:) [amyb]

Kisses and kisses
|
You were absolutely right in your first comment, no need to apologize. I actually feel this way all of the time, but I don't let myself dwell on it until that monthly time. Now about the woman thing, I think it's something most women think about, at least whomever I've asked. I told you before about the two friends I said that kissed, I found out later one used to have a girlfriend. I was attracted to her. I'm not sure if it was her beauty, or if it was the fact that she was sooooo fun to be around. The only problem was I didn't trust her. She would get into things and take things she had no right taking (like medications, nothing serious, and clothes). But I was still attracted to her, and even to this day, I think of her often. Now maybe if she was unattractive, maybe I wouldn't have had those thoughts, I don't know. I did kiss her a couple times in a bar, but only pecks on the lips, and only to excite some guys that were checking us out, but that was the extent of it. Will the opportunity ever rise again? Who knows, and if it does, it that a sort of cheating??? Would I still do it if it was "cheating"? Yep, sure the sh** I would!! :) Happy thoughts for now.....B~ [WyomingLover]

i have never really wanted to kiss a woman passionately but i have kissed a woman. Twice. And both times (2 different women) it did NOTHING for me. Maybe it was the penis envy i possess and oh boy howdy, do i....giggle....(Sire's is the best ever, my lean mean fucking machine) anyway...you never know about someone elses kiss unless you try. Hmmm, I also was not all that attracted to those 2 women. I am sure THAT makes a difference too. To answer the question you asked, it's Nova Southeastern University out of Ft. Lauderdale. The website is www.nova.edu. I think it's called the world class or something similar on the website. Another term starts the end of October. I am a little overwhelmed by the class workload right now. I guess the hour of class really pays off, because the teacher can give you pointers and skips over the stuff in the book you don't need, whereas in the online course, you have to read the book yourself, forget pointers!! :) [WyomingLover]

i once watched a movie with 2 women, who went in to the back of a shoe store and got it on in a store room- I don't know if it was the 2 of them kissing, or the the fact that they were surrounded by shoes that turned me on. Sometimes i think it would be so much easier if i could get it on with women - Now that i'm a little older, i certainly find it easier to develop friendships with women - there are quite a few who "get me". But the bottom line is, I like the feel of a man - lips- hands - dick - all the parts! I can't even make my peace with 1 man and 2 women- Lord knows I've tried- read my last few excerpts! One of my favorite episodes on Sex and the City is when Samantha tires to become a Lesbian - but in the end its back to Penis Envy. The other episode is when she tries a menage a trois with her boyfriend, and they end up throwing the other girl out of bed. Actually I think it was the boyfriend who said "Get Rid Of Her". But Samantha was pleased. Jill Solbule (spelling?) has a great song called "I Kissed A Girl". I'm sure you can download it - I guess i'll end this comment with XXXX:) Goodnight! [amyb]

You know, I must tell you, that I have wanted to kiss a woman too! Just to see what it feels like, what emotions it stirs in me and just to do it! I can't imagine going down on another woman either, I guess that's how I know I'm not a lesbian. Two of my friends (and they are absolutely gorgeous) kissed one time, I didn't see it, but they told me about it, and I was rather envious. Why doesn't stuff like that happen to me? I think of myself as an attractive female! Oh well, I'm still young and there are plenty of women out there, many more adventures to behold! :) Jay surveys for natural gas and oil, so we're mainly on the west coast. But I actually just started traveling with him. He stopped doing it for 9 months, but before that he's been doing it for 9 years or so. We've been dating 3, and it's been hard because he was always away and working. And don't worry about your whining, that's what this diary is for!! :) Now I'm going to go do a little whining on my entry!!! [WyomingLover]

You are too cute! Oh I relate to you...and you know what?? I never use to allow anyone to go down on me either. I have always said the reason behind that was because I would never ask anyone to do anything to me that I haven't tried myself...while that all sounds good and believable, I am FINALLY gonna be honest because you made me realize that my real reason is the same as yours....it was too stimulating! Well, I am here to say that Warlock is the FIRST man that has ever gone down on me that I actually had an orgasm with. OMG! And it just didn't stop...it went on and on and on...giggle. mmmm what that man does to me.....hehehe. As far as the name of the glove...well, is JUST "The Glove" and I am sure that if you contact Sire, He could arrange it to where you could get one...*smiles really BIG! Although I am a bit more conventional, I too love Toys. The joke over the blackout was that we had 87 vibrators and no flashlight. Got to get one of those gloves, that's for sure. Alas, My husband will do what I tell him, so I guess that makes me the dominant one. Hard to reverse roles, I'm afraid. Then again, a bit of coaxing and u might unleash a monster. My only rule (well not only), Always have a second key to the handcuffs. Goodluck. Glad Mom is coming around - and wonderful about the smoking. Aug 25 will be 17 years that I am smoke free- It was of all the substances, the hardest to give up. And I've given up plenty. Hang in there. [amyb]

Good luck with hubby. My ex-wife was never satisfied with playing the submissive to me because I was so afraid of hurting her that I could never be as rough with her as she wanted. I don't "switch" that well, I'm afraid. That works well in my current marriage since Mistress has no intention of bottoming to me ever. She is the dominant one in all cases. [chastetek]

Anastasia... Thank you for the letter you wrote to me, and I didn't mean to imply that you didn't do that which you felt right to do, it just seemed at the time to be something which I felt you and I would both agree on. :) I'm very sorry to hear about what happened in your past... that's something that No One should ever have to go through... I do believe, however, that the experiences we have in our life, for good or for bad, are experiences had for a purpose... perhaps you will need that knowledge of what it's like to live through something like that in the future in order to help someone else. Im glad you feel that your over it, and safe in the arms of your husband too. Might I suggest that if he hasn't gotten the hint that you would like something a bit more sporatic (sp?) and fun natured (to put it nicely)... that you begin it by slapping HIS butt once in a while. ... maybe get a pair of "quick release" cuffs and use them on him... or something of that nature. Perhaps by his seeing your adventursome side emerging, he will pick up on it and learn to be a bit more adventursome himself. How about tying him to the bed while he sleeps, then wake him up VERY erotically. .... I know that would get my pet's blood pumping HOT!. -Warlock - (whisper's Sire) [warlock]

i liked your entry - very touching - hard to cope with situations like that- I agree- sometime you have to take responsibities for your actions - I am a recovering alcholic - at some point I had to stop blaming other people - And forgive others as well- Parents are human - and Mothers have a tough time protecting their children- I too am impressed with Warlock's Whisper - Very courageous. I commend you AB...really I do. Not many like you for sure. I think all suspicisions should be looked into and that is EXACTLY what I did. It was hard because I had to approach a child and ask her IF he did anything to her....and she would not tell me BUT I made a promise to her...I told her that IF she would tell me, I would make sure she would NEVER have to be near him again, so she told and I kept my word...this story goes DEEP in my heart and is so very hard to talk about. Perhaps I need therapy. I have never been able to let go of this....hurts my heart but at least I was able to help her and any others that he may have TRIED to hurt..that is a relief to me... ~whisper [Warlocks whisper]

Thank you Anastasia Blue...it is exciting and I am glad you enjoy it. I DO have my ups and downs but I don't write about everything...just about the highlights or the definite bothers...giggle. Keep reading AB, I love an audience. Oh....and I am sorry about what happened to you in your past. Past is a hard thing to overcome but it CAN be done. I am one of the fortunate ones that had a sheltered life. Sometimes I think that is the reason I am such a thrill seeker IF that is the correct term. I love adrenaline no matter which way it comes. I have had to deal with many things from my past but nothing as horrific. One thing though, I DID have to make a decision in my life that broke a "forever" dream of mine. I found out that my kid's dad was molesting little girls (not ours) and even though I loved him with all my heart, I turned him in. No other decision could be made as far as I was concerned. He has been in prison for 16 3/4 years now and I believe that he will die there. While I loved him, I loved children more than my own life....therefore it was something that had to be done. ~whisper [Warlocks whisper]

Ana... I absolutely love your openess and honesty. It's wonderful to see when someone can truely talk about themselves, their lives, and where they are personally. It's the ability to do that, which enables us to see past the "bad" things, and to see ways to open the doors to the places we wish to be in life. Keep it up, let what's truely within you flow freely, and nothing will be able to hold you back. -warlock

Hello Anastasia... First of all, I want to say that this posting you've made here is *sooooo* much more open and honest than any other I've seen in your diary yet... and also, the best. I suppose we all have some "voyeurism" in us, as well as some "exibitionism", since we come here and not only look into the worlds, hearts, hopes, and dreams of others... but lay out our own for others to see as well. A good thing?... I think so. Personally, I don't feel that anyone should "hold back", as you put it. We are who we are, and to hold back on being ourselves is paramount to lessening that which is so great within us. Im glad you like my little qwips and writing style... and I would love to see you truely open up and show us the fullness of your own. Congratulations too on your published poem. :) Perhaps you will one day share it with us within these pages. -warlock [warlock]
